Five Bayon faces, Angkor, Cambodia

The Bayon temple is not far from Angkor Wat, and is one of the Temples of Angkor. It was built as a Buddhist temple in the 12th century. The main features of the Bayon temple are its 37 remaining "face towers". Each tower is carved with faces pointing in the four cardinal directions.
