Elephants crossing, Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
In the African national parks, visitors' vehicles must remain on the "roads".The animals, of course, may stay as far away from the roads as they like or may, like these elephants, not take any notice of the road at all. In this case, the rules of the road are simple - elephants have priority - and this herd is totally unconcerned about our 4WD vehicle.
