Brown Bear on the beach, Cooks Inlet, Alaska
| After our cruise, we flew to a small lodge on the shore of Cook Inlet, near Anchorage, landing on the beach. There we spent a few days watching brown bears (grizzly bears) exploring the area after waking from their hibernation. This is a young one, and it has found a fish on the beach. |
