Cheetahs near Kwara camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

After sighting the cheetahs the previous day, we came across them again on our next game drive. They had obviously made a kill in the meantime because this time they were resting with full bellies although, even then, they remained watchful. Cheetahs will typically choose to rest on a mound, usually the remains of a termite hill, so that they have a good view of the surrounding area.
