87. Buffaloes in the northern Serengeti
| As we begin our return journey south through the Serengeti we encounter herds of buffalo. They always appear unintelligent, and usually are carrying a number of birds which feast on the ticks that attach themselves to the buffaloes as they wander through the long grass. |
