| Next, we set out to spend a few days visiting small villages northwest of Guilin. This is the area of the Dong minority people, well known for their "wind and rain" bridges, such as this very new concrete structure at Sanjang City. The wooden structure of these bridges is built entirely without the use of nails or screws. |
