| The Ponte Vecchio is a medieval stone bridge across the Arno River, and was the only bridge in Florence not destroyed by the Germans during their WWII retreat from Florence. The shops on the bridge are almost exclusively jewellery businesses, and their window displays feature many stunning pieces. |
