66. "The Birth of Venus" by Botticelli

After the Accademia, we moved on to the Uffizi Gallery, where we spent hours walking through corridors, halls and rooms filled with art from across the ages. One item that struck a chord was Botticelli's "Birth of Venus", painted in 1486, of which Sabine has strong memories from her schooldays.
