4. Hozomon Gate at Senso-ji
| The Hozomon gate is the entrance to the Senso-ji temple complex in the old Tokyo district of Asakusa. Its famous paper lantern is 3.9 metres tall and is painted in vivid red-and-black tones to suggest thunderclouds and lightning. |
